Possibly if you are a WordPress implementer or developer, you manage several WordPress-based sites. Updating plugins from several sites can be a tedious task.
Let’s see how MainWP helps us to do this task something quick and easy.
Update a plugin with MainWP
Considering that we have a site with MainWP installed from where we manage the various sites, we go to the side menu to the Plugins > Install.
We can install at the same time in multiple sites both from the WordPress repository and plugins that we upload from our computer. In the example we will upload a plugin from our computer to several sites. We click on Upload .zip File and then on Upload Now.
Next we go to the right part of the screen and select the sites to which we intend to upload our plugin. Activate the options Activate plugin after installation and Overwrite existing plugin, if already installed in this way we will activate the plugin and we will overwrite it if it already existed. Finally, click on Complete installation.
